Theo Heras was, until her retirement in 2012, the Children’s Literature Specialist at the Lillian H. Smith Branch of the Toronto Public Library. Theo has written for magazines, journals, and professional newsletters. In 2004, she published What Will We Do with the Baby-o? (Tundra Books). Theo co-edited Bridges to Understanding: International Children’s Books Tell Their Stories, sponsored by the United States’ Section of the International Board on Books for Young People (USBBY), due in the spring 2016. Her newest picture book, Hat On, Hat Off (Pajama Press), also arrives in 2016. Also a singer, Theo has released two CDs.
