Sharon Wigney, a Lakehead University graduate works at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library. Most of her years at the library have been spent in the Reference & Information Department where she is now the Senior Reference Technician. As public libraries have changed in recent years, programming and community engagement have played an increasingly larger part in her role at the library, with some exciting new programs being developed. She has also been a long-time member of the Ontario Association of Library Technicians (OALT/ABO).
