Shannon Gordon is the Bibliometrics & Research Impact Librarian at the University of Waterloo. Working closely with Institutional Analysis and Planning, the Office of Research, and the Library, Shannons portfolio includes projects inspired by: the transformational research theme of the Universitys Strategic Plan, capturing research impact, and university rankings. A member of the Universitys Bibliometrics Working Group, Shannon is an active member of the Librarians Association of the University of Waterloo Executive Committee. Passionate about academic librarianship, Shannon completed her MLIS at Western in 2006, and has since worked as a Librarian with UWaterloo and Memorial University.
