Monique Woroniak works in the Information Services section of the Millennium Library – the central library in the Winnipeg Public Library system. She previously worked in WPL’s Outreach Services section where her responsibilities were focused on delivering library services with Indigenous peoples, particularly in community-based sites. She writes and is a frequent presenter in the areas of community development and anti-racist and indigenized approaches to all aspects of library service. She currently serves as the Collections Development lead for the Prison Libraries Committee of the Manitoba Library Association and volunteers to provide service at the provincial remand facility in Winnipeg.
