Melissa Tom has been a Teacher-Librarian with the Halton District School Board for nine years and is currently in an elementary school in Milton which boasts 950+ students. She is passionate about nurturing curiosity and supporting teachers and students in the 21st century learning commons. Walt Disney said, “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” Curiosity, and learning how to find out about one’s questions, is at the heart of what we do in libraries each and every day.
