Mary Ann Mavrinac is the Vice Provost and Neilly Dean, River Campus Libraries, University of Rochester. Previously, she was the Chief Librarian, University of Toronto Mississauga where she led the development of the Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre, an award-winning new library which opened in 2006.
Mary Ann was the 2010 President of the Ontario Library Association. She is on the steering committee for OLAs Annual Institute on the Library as Place, and in 2014 received the Ontario College and University Library Associations Lifetime Achievement Award. She is currently on the Board of the Association of Research Libraries.
