Kelly’s career has focused primarily on public libraries, with a short stint at a large Canadian materials vendor. She has an MLIS from Western, a BA from Laurier, and was part of the first-ever cohort of Advanced Public Library Leadership (APLL) graduates. She is passionate about libraries and communities and how one cannot exist without the other. As the Region of Waterloo’s previous Manager of Information Services, Kelly saw the opportunity for floating collections to have a huge positive impact on library operations, and was excited to oversee the project.
