Joel is the author of Haunted Canada 4 & 5, as well as the forthcoming YA novel Summer’s End, all published by Scholastic Canada. His books have been nominated for the Bram Stoker Award and the Hackmatack Award, among other honours. His short fiction has appeared in anthologies and magazines alongside the likes of Stephen King and Neil Gaiman.
He has served as a juror for the John Spray Mystery Award and Monica Hughes Award for Science Fiction and Fantasy.
Joel appeared as “The Barbarian Librarian” on the hit television show Wipeout. He has a MLIS from Aberystwyth University. www.joelasutherland.com
