
Jenny Fry, MA, MLIS, is the Manager of Learning Services at Surrey Public Library. Jenny earned a Master in Library and Information Studies from the School of Library, Archival and Information Studies at the University of British Columbia in 1999, and a Master in Gender Studies from the University of Northern BC in 1997. She has worked in a variety of non-profit, corporate, and public libraries, including five years as the solo librarian for the BC Institute Against Family Violence. Jenny is co-chair of the BCLA Readers Advisory Interest Group, a group of passionate library staff who are committed to developing and promoting adult readers advisory service in BC public libraries.
