Gohar Ashoughian is university librarian at Wilfrid Laurier University. Prior to joining Laurier, she held a number of leadership positions in the United States and Canada, most recently as university librarian at the University of Northern British Columbia. She was also previously associate university librarian, collection services and assessment, at the University of Regina. At Laurier, Ashoughian is responsible for the strategic leadership, evaluation, development and day-to-day administration of the multi-campus library system, with locations in Waterloo, Brantford and Kitchener. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science degree and Advanced Certificate in Library Information Science from Louisiana State University.
