Before joining Whitehots, Edmund Salt was involved in a variety of businesses in England and Canada in the glass and ceramic industry, from Aynsley China/Waterford Crystal to Corning International, involved in all aspects of business; manufacturing, operations, sales, marketing and distribution. He joined Whitehots as the first employee in 1990, and was able to use his wide ranging business experience to help Whitehots enjoy substantial growth over 25 years. He was a session speaker at the OLA Superconference, speaking on electronic selection and acquisition, and at the recent symposium Future of Libraries.
