Colleen first discovered the possibility of a career in libraries when working as a page with the Guelph Public Library. During her career in Guelph, she held a variety of positions including Library Assistant and Librarian in Childrens Services as well as Webmaster and Manager of Circulation Services. She enjoyed every opportunity to exploit the benefits of technology and played a key role in leading the change to a new ILS, developing a staff training strategy and promoting the adoption of eBooks. Colleen then accepted a position as Branch Manager with the Brampton Library and soon after as CEO and Chief Librarian with the Grimsby Public Library, where she thoroughly enjoyed working with and learning from the other 11 library CEOs ini the Niagara Region. Colleens most recent move brought her to the Caledon Public Library where she has been CEO since July 2015.
