Cathy Simpson is CEO of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library where she was hired in 2012. Prior to that, she served as Deputy CEO of the Lincoln Public Library system for 6 years and Local History & Reference Librarian at the Niagara Falls Public Library for 4 years. Before working in public libraries, Cathy was as a Business Information Specialist for the Niagara Enterprise Agency and the City of St. Catharines’ Economic Development Department and has also worked in accounting and law libraries. A graduate of the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information, she has a Certificate in Public Library Leadership from SOLS and the University of Waterloo.
