Catherine is an awarding-winning children’s author whose writing career spans more than 25 years. Her book, Don’t Touch That Toad and Other Strange Things Adults Tell You, was honoured with the Silver Birch Award and the Hackmatack Award. The 10 Worst Things About the Internet won the Teacher’s Choice Award. Catherine’s early work was in the adult market and appeared in publications such as The Toronto Star, Canadian Living, Cottage Life and City Parent Magazine.

Catherine takes great pride in her more than 31 years with the Toronto Public Library, working in programming and literacy for young adults and children.
