Andrea Gaspar is not your conventionally trained librarian. A lawyer by trade, a seasoned mother by choice and with a passion for books, literacy, and people, Andrea brings her enthusiasm for community engagement and entrepreneurship to the library setting. Transforming libraries has become her new passion. As CEO of the Parry Sound Public Library since 2012, she has transformed the library space, re-organized the collection and rejuvenated community interest in the library. Andrea is a fierce advocate for public libraries and believes we cannot take a passive stance if we are to remain relevant, current and valuable to our communities.
