Treasure Mountain Canada (TMC) is a school library research symposium. Researchers, writers, leading thinkers and practitioners come together every 2nd year to highlight, analyse, debate and study current research and scholarly authorship to promote continuous improvement in school librarianship in Canada.
This year’s theme is “Growing Impact of Leading Learning: Standards of Practice for School Libraries in Canada”. The call for papers will open in September and the program will be announced in December.
The program will be a mix of focus talks, research round-tables, group technology-assisted challenges and responses, and input from moderators as the day progresses. The final activity — “The Big Think” — will summarize the day and provide direction for continuing conversations.
Friday evening – David Cameron, Spotlight Speaker
8:00am – Continental Breakfast
