Description:

The learning commons serves a unique purpose in the school as a bridge between educational philosophy being practiced and the real world. As such it serves school curriculum but also is known as a place of experimentation, play, making, doing, thinking, collaborating and growing. The Learning Commons is always in a state of beta on the climb to excellence. Although there is no clear destination point or end to the journey there should be defining characteristics we can use to consider progress and set goals for improvement. What are the special distinctive features that reap best results? This will be an interactive presentation, so be prepared to talk, share, and collaborate.
