Description:

How can a library inspire students to become passionate about academic integrity? Increasing student awareness about issues such as plagiarism and copyright is a problem that plagues many academic institutions, especially in the digital age. Niagara College Libraries has attempted to solve this riddle by creating a series of supplementary hybrid workshops designed to enhance student knowledge about these topics in a fun and motivational way. Learn about our successes and challenges with the project.  Could the same approach work for you?  How is the concept of academic integrity changing and how should libraries respond?  Join us for a thought-provoking demonstration and discussion.

Learning Outcomes
Participants will leave with:
An appreciation for the importance of academic integrity in the current academic climate.
Awareness of how libraries can contribute to student awareness of academic integrity issues.
