Description:

Every profession has its own vernacular. this workshop deals with translating the library profession’s own particular lexicon into a broader vocabulary that will enable you to create better understanding  and to create “wins” with administrators and funders. The session, using communication techniques, focuses on strategies and methods aim to build better comprehension, and ultimately value, between front line librarians and institutional colleagues and managers.
