L’Université d’Ottawa sest jointe au service Ask a Librarian du Ontario Council of University Libraries (Conseil des bibliothèques universitaires de l’Ontario), en septembre 2014. « Clavardez avec nos bibliothécaires » est le service de référence virtuel en français en collaboration avec les bibliothèques de l’Université dOttawa, de l’Université Laurentienne et du campus Glendon de l’Université York. Cest le volet francophone du service dOCUL (du CBUO) Ask a Librarian, en activité depuis 2011.
After its first year with the French chat service, the University of Ottawa Library has much to say about the success of this new collaboration. What were the challenges? What training and working tools are offered to employees? What are the advantages of working in partnership? What about statistics usage? Are there any impacts on the other universities? Are there any opportunities for future cooperation and partnerships? Can we dream of a coast to coast collaboration?
