Description:

The unique partnership between Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH) and Markham Public Library (MPL) brings together two respected community organizations with a shared mandate to improve wellness support and health literacy in the community.   The MSH Medical Library is located within the public library building the capacity of both partners to provide the community with reliable, high quality information through collections and programs.  By working collaboratively we have expanded our reach and maximized use of resources to ensure everyone in the community has access to the information they need to make informed decisions that affect their well being.  We’ll talk about Markham’s experiences in developing effective, sustainable partnerships that achieve community goals.
