Are you looking for practical yet creative ideas to update or refresh your public service area?  Whether you work primarily at the front desk or are designing processes behind behind-the-scenes, this presentation aims to provide you with literally dozens of great ideas related to public service provision that can be easily implemented in any library environment. Be inspired as you listen to members of  The Ontario Council of University Libraries Public Services Renewal community share their novel ideas on innovating for the improvement of public service areas . Attendees will be encouraged to take these fresh new ideas back to their home institutions and experiment!

Learning Outcomes
Participants will be exposed to new strategies that they can subsequently test out within their public.
Through exposure to a wide variety of service provision methods, participants’; ability to discern and evaluate good public service practices.
Participants will be able to compare and evaluate the public services provided in their public service area with those explored in the presentation.
