Toni spent 33 years as an educator with the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board, holding the positions of teacher, principal and Superintendent of Education. Following her retirement from the school board, she was an Education Officer for the Northeast region of the Ministry of Education.
Toni also served nine years on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Aid Society of Algoma, 5 years on the General Hospital Board of Directors and is currently on the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library Board. In addition she is serving a three year term as a provincially appointed member on the Northeast Local Health Integration Network (LHIN).
Having a strong interest in effective governance, Toni has mentored and provided support to several Boards.
