Steve Kraft, CEO of the Guelph Public Library, was born and raised in Dashwood, Ontario and received his master’s degree in Library and Information Science from University of Western in 1983. Over the past 30 years, he has worked his way through the Guelph Public Library system, serving as Children’s Reference Librarian, Manager of Information Services, Director of Main Library and as the Assistant CEO.
With knowledgeable staff, a vast collection, online research tools, and numerous community events for all ages, the Guelph Public Library continues to provide new and innovative lifelong learning opportunities. He is truly honoured to serve the needs of the City of Guelph.
