Sherrill Sherwood is the Collections Development Coordinator at Haliburton County Public Library. Along with the opportunity to help serve and enrich Haliburton County with a balanced and diverse collection, Sherrill also values her role in promoting the library through the local radio station, 100.9 Canoe FM, winner of the 2015 OLA Media and Communications Award. Sherrill became interested in working at the library while making weekly visits with her two small sons and seeing how much it contributed to the quality of their lives. She started at the Stanhope branch of Haliburton County Public Library and has been at the Library Administration Office since 2003.3.
