Mckensy_Sepideh

Sepideh Mckensy has been working for Toronto Public Library since 1998 and has been a youth services librarian at Fairview Branch since April 2015. In her current position she has developed many new initiatives and programs at the branch for youth in the community. Prior to this position she had worked at York Woods Branch as a children’s librarian where she focused on middle years youth who were at risk in the Jane and Finch area. At York Woods she developed the first Boys Mentorship group that allowed young males to connect with successful male adults that serve as realistic role models and help youth develop better life skills. She has always been passionate about LGBTQ+ and human rights all her life and has a B.A.Hons. in Psychology.
