Sandra Morden is Head, Discovery and Technology Services at Queen’s University, where she is responsible for providing leadership and direction in the planning, development, delivery and ongoing assessment of high quality services in the Library’s Discovery and Technology Services Division (DTS). DTS is responsible for interrelated services, systems and tools connecting users with information resources and services and supporting library initiatives, including web services, library systems and discovery, the institutional repository, and electronic and print resource management. Prior to joining Queen’s in 2014, Sandra was a Consultant, leading and managing various projects related to library systems planning and procurement, building on previous experience as Account Representative (sales and customer service) for the DRA library system and work as a librarian in several positions in various libraries. To date in the Collaborative Futures Project, Sandra has served as a member of the Market Research Working Group and Chair of the Shared LSP Working Group.
