Norene Erickson is the Curriculum Coordinator and an Assistant Professor for the Library & Information Technology program at MacEwan University. She is passionate about creating meaningful and transformative experiences for the students in the classroom, and works tirelessly to promote the vital role of library technicians in industry. Currently a PhD student in Educational Policy Studies at the University of Alberta, her doctoral research is focused on the experiences of library paraprofessionals in a continuously evolving library environment, and how this impacts workplace culture and identity.
