Matthew has a BA in English from Acadia University and a MLIS from The University of Western Ontario. He has been a librarian for eight years and has been involved in the projects such as the Searchmont North Pole Express which won the 2015 Minister’s Award for Innovation (Medium Libraries), and more recently was the Chair for the local organizing committee for the 2016 OLA Festival of Trees event held in Sault Ste. Marie. Matthew is responsible for Children’s Services, Reference Services, and Adult Programming at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library.
