Dr. Lucia Cedeira Serantes is an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies, Queens College (CUNY). Her primary research lies at the intersection of young adults, reading, and public libraries, with an emphasis on the reading experience from the reader’s perspective. She has presented her research in library and interdisciplinary conferences and recently contributed to Transforming Young Adult Services: A Reader for Our Age (2013) and the edited collection Plotting the Reading Experience: Theory/Practice/Politics (2016).
