Kelly Kipfer is Manager, Community Engagement and Children’s Services at Waterloo Public Library. With an eclectic background in literacy, immigration and community development she is easily excited by new ideas for creating dynamic and welcoming spaces at the library. Providing open and inclusive places for young people to be creative is high on her thrill list. By starting from ‘yes’ when it comes to risky play program proposals, she has been (mostly!) delighted with the incredible opportunities her programmers have provided to the children of Waterloo.
