A long time employee of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, Frances Ryan accepted a position as Resource Centre Librarian with an Ontario Schedule 2 Agency. Appointment to the Library Board several years later has expanded her library involvement. Participation in OLA includes OLA Board member 2011, 2012 and Bylaw Review Committee; several positions on the OLBA Board (President 2012) and Super Conference co-planner 2016 – 2017. She is currently Vice-Chair of Ontario Library Services – North.
