Feather Maracle Luke is Mohawk from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. She works in the Reference Department of the Timmins Public Library and has been a Juror with First Nation Communities Read since 2012. She has been promoting the FNCR titles for many years, reading to audiences at Timmins’ National Aboriginal Day celebration and running programs at local schools.
Feather is a member of the OLA Super Conference Planning Committee, organizing the Aboriginal Stream and also the Chair of the OLA Indigenous Task Group. She is a dedicated advocate of literacy and education and in strengthening the relationship between libraries and the FNMI population.
