Cindy Poggiaroni is the Manager of Collections at Brampton Library. She earned her MISt at U of T while gaining valuable experience working in a number of libraries including Vaughan Public Libraries, Gerstein Science Information Centre (U of T) and the Toronto Star. Cindy joined the Brampton Library team as a Selection Librarian specializing in the selection and acquisition of materials for the system. Cindy was later promoted to Manager and led the collections team through a reorganization designed to meet the challenges of public service development and delivery. Today Cindy continues to oversee the the day-to-day operations of the acquisitions and interlibrary loan department, and leading staff through change to ensure collections meets the changing needs of library users and aligns with the strategic direction of the Library.
