Ashley has been working with children and youth in public libraries since she completed her MLIS in 2008. After working in Thompson, Manitoba as a Library Assistant for three years, she accepted her current role at Collingwood Public Library. She is a strong advocate for early literacy and community outreach, implementing initiatives such as StoryWalk®, a Traveling Book Nook, and a Library Card Drive. She feels lucky to work with children because they make her laugh every day.
