Amanda lives along the St. Lawrence River with her husband and two girls. She has been working in the library field for close to 7 years now. She first started working for the SD&G County Library and is now currently working for the Upper Canada District School board as a Learning Commons Informationist. Amanda works out of three different schools, two elementary and one K-12 (the only K-12 school out of 86 schools in the board). She finds her position rewarding and quite busy at best, however, she wouldn’t have it any other way. She has since decided to pursue a diploma in the Library and Information Technician through Mohawk College and is half way through the program.
