Alain-Philippe has had a 20 year career in federal libraries, including 10 years at the National Research Council (CISTI) and job stints at HRSDC, Public Works and Indian and Northern Affairs, as well as several early positions in academic libraries dedicated to law, science and humanities at the University of Ottawa. He has a Bachelor of arts with honors in Philosophy from Ottawa U. and a Masters in Library Studies from McGill University. His interests include travel (to almost all continents), Ancient history and archeology and advanced computing concepts, such as Big data, data analysis and conceptual number theory. His most successful published work was on ‘Geometrical patterns of mind.’
