Regardless of how and where we work in Ontario’s libraries, we’re all in.

All in can mean different things for different people, which is why we’ve curated a variety of social experiences for both introverts and extroverts at the Super Conference:

Speed Networking: Practice your interview skills! New professionals and students are paired with seasoned professionals to networking during 5-minute “dates”. Limited spaces available; find out more here.

Real Answers to your Branding and Marketing Questions: The most important job we have as Library professionals is marketing. Do you have questions about your Library’s branding, promotional efforts, campaigns, environmental graphics or marketing? Interested in changing perspectives and influencing people to see Libraries in a new way?

Book an individual consultation with Jamie Hardie, Partner/Strategist at Hardie and Company Advertising. With firsthand experience working with a variety of Library systems, he can help you launch a new project, explore new ideas, and truly make a difference. Limited space available.

Film Fests: Looking for something social but also for some time to recharge? We feel you, introverts. Come join us for a Canadian film screening. Learn more about the movies here.

Getting In Early on Tuesday Night? Pick up your badge from the registration desk (open from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) then join us at the Early Arrivals Welcome for a beverage and a bite at Joe Badali’s across the street.

All Conference Welcome Party. Kick off your Super Conference at this grand event!
Mix and mingle with your colleagues, make new friends and enjoy an evening that will set the stage for your full conference experience. This party is something you don’t want to miss. Thank you to ProQuest for their ongoing support!

Yoga/Run Need a blast of cold air to jolt you into your day? Getting the most out of conference can take a lot out of you. Join us for a quick (not too strenuous) jaunt along the waterfront (meet in the ICTC LOWER Lobby) or ease into your day with gentle, yoga stretches (MTCC 105/106 stage area). Both the run and yoga start at 7:30 am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. No registration required.
