This past summer, the Ontario Government released the province’s first Culture Strategy which sets out a vision, goals and actions to support and strengthen arts and culture across the province. Kevin Finnerty, Assistant Deputy Minister, Culture Division, Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, will provide an overview of the key elements of the strategy, with a focus on initiatives related to public libraries.
After the ministry presentation, the following hour will be an opportunity for delegates from the public library sector to engage in group discussions.
