Going beyond preparation for the interview, this session will utilize a holistic approach encouraging participants to engage in the strategy and self-care essentials for success in our competitive field. This wide-ranging presentation will be led by a new tenure-track librarian, a success coach and a search committee veteran. A workshop and group discussion will follow. Participants will be free to share experiences, ask questions and create their own strategies for success. Although primarily geared toward academic libraries, join us for a stimulating, inspiring, and practical session that will be of use to anyone engaging in a job search.

Outcomes:
– Synthesize new and existing knowledge about the hiring process to craft a personalized strategy for success
– Engage in self-reflection to identify and address self-care needs.
