In Google, “interview tips” gets 177,000,000 results. But look for “interviewing tips” and that number drops to 5,450,000. Just as most of us will interview for jobs many times in our career, many of us will also be involved in interviewing. Interviewing effectively is crucial to the health of organizations and is a skill that takes time and effort to master. In this session, a panel of new and veteran academic librarians will discuss interviewing skills and best practices, as well as the ways these can be fostered. Although this session focuses on interviewing in the academic library context, those working in other settings are encouraged to attend.
