In June 2015, Penguin Random House Canada moved into a new combined office space in the heart of the city at 320 Front Street West. The fully open concept office, designed by figure3, caters to book-lovers and features great views of the city. Bookshelf-lined corridors, cozy reading nooks, and multi-purpose meeting spaces create a library feel and encourages collaboration. Top-of-the-line technology is fully integrated into meeting spaces, some with retractable walls, allowing for enough space that the entire company can congregate for meetings and special occasions. In the fall of 2016, Penguin Random House added a 158 square foot retail space, The Penguin Shop, featuring staff picks and Penguin-branded merchandise.
